Serie de 12 fotografías que componen el proyecto VeloCity;
Una mirada crítica después de tanto tiempo dentro del sistema. Velocity representa la velocidad a la que hoy gran parte de la gente va en una ciudad civilizada y urbanizada y la no sensibilización social,como si llevásemos un Velo que no nos deja ver con claridad. Para procesar estéticamente la realidad en la que vivimos ignoro la trepidación e incluso la busco como medio expresivo. En esta época donde el bombardeo de imágenes es continuo, donde vivimos ansiosos, con estrés, malhumorados, deprimidos, en una acelerada y agotadora carrera busco un recurso para contar lo que siento por lo que veo a mi alrededor; Una observación poética, imágenes que describan pero sobretodo que transmitan, algunas forman parte de una realidad más amplia que remiten a la memoria de algo, las desigualdades sociales, los movimientos migratorios, el racismo… Estamos tan acostumbrados a ver aspectos de la vida que no deberían ni existir y se han convertido en algo cotidiano que ya no nos sorprende, forman parte del paisaje. No hay manipulación de la imagen es un trabajo de profundidad, un esfuerzo interior, para que lo que ves sea.

Series of 12 photographs that make up the VeloCity project;
A critical look after so much time within the system. VeloCity represents the speed at which today most of the people go in a civilized and urbanized city and the non-sensitization socially, as if a veil does not let us see clearly. To aesthetically process the reality in which we live, I ignore the trepidation and even look for it as an expressive medium. In this era where the bombardment of images is continuous, where we live anxious, stressed, moody, depressed, in an accelerated and exhausting career I look for a resource to tell what I feel about what I see around me; A poetic observation, images that describe but above all that transmit. Some are part of a larger reality that refers to the memory of something, social inequalities, migratory movements, racism ... We are so accustomed to seeing aspects of life that should not even exist and they have become something everyday that no longer surprises us they are part of the landscape. No manipulation of the image is a work of depth, an effort of internalization, so that what you see is. I ignore the trepidation and I even look for it as an expressive medium, making the real unreal.
